Ink studies in preparation for Cosmogonic Tattoos, a 2017 installation at the University of Michigan Museum of Art and the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology.  I made over 250 studies of objects in their two collections, of which these are a sample. The ink studies were translated into digital vector files which were used to design the installation within a digital scale elevation of the two sites.
